At Dream City Church, we believe the Church was never meant to be merely a building or a place. It’s a movement, a mission, and a family. With six campuses across Arizona, California, Nebraska, and beyond, Dream City Church is a vibrant and impactful church fueled by the presence of God and a passion for making a difference in the world. Whether through bold discipleship ministries or powerful outreach to the most broken and hurting, we are a church that dares to bring the light of the Gospel to every corner of society.

A Brief History

Dream City Church began nearly a century ago, not as a cathedral of grandeur but as a humble tent meeting with a heavenly purpose. Since then, it has grown into one church in many locations, with each campus unified in mission, style, and spirit. Our calling has always remained the same: to shine God’s light and impact our cities by loving people, building community, and inspiring hope.

From illustrated sermons to dramatic productions, we believe in presenting Jesus’ timeless message in a way that connects with today’s culture. Through every service, outreach, and act of kindness, Dream City Church continues a legacy of renewal and revival right where it’s needed most.

Our Mission

We exist to reveal Christ to the world by loving people, cultivating community, and inspiring hope. This isn’t just a tagline; it’s the heartbeat of everything we do.

Our Core Beliefs

Jesus once said that all the law and the prophets hang on two commands: Love God and Love your neighbor as yourself. These are the pillars of our faith and the foundation of our church.

Love God
We believe in a loving, triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created us to know Him and worship Him. Sin separated us, but Jesus made a way. Through His death and resurrection, salvation is now available to all who believe and confess His name. We also believe that the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God. It teaches us how to live, how to love, and how to glorify the One who made us.

Love Each Other
The church isn’t a place you go; it’s a people you belong to. We are a community of believers committed to declaring the glory of Jesus across the world. We grow together, serve together, and lift each other up in faith, prayer, and purpose.

Love the World
Jesus didn’t just come to save souls. He came to heal hearts, restore families, and redeem communities. At Dream City Church, we believe every believer is called to ministry. Whether through acts of service, outreach, or simply sharing your story, you are God’s messenger of love and truth.

A Church With a Dream

Our Phoenix Dream Center was founded in 2006 by Pastor Tommy Barnett, and our expanded network now extends across multiple states. Every month, our ministries touch over 40,000 lives: feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, and providing hope to the hopeless through street outreach, transitional housing, and rehabilitation programs. This is the gospel in action—love with sleeves rolled up.

Our Core Values

We live by five key values that guide how we grow, serve, and live:

Grace:
We give freely what we’ve received from God.

Growth:
We grow in Christ and help others grow with us.

Groups:
We thrive in authentic relationships and community.

Gifts:
We use our God-given talents to serve and make a difference.

Giving:
We honor God by giving our time, resources, and finances.

No matter your age, background, or stage of life, there’s a place for you at Dream City Church. From kids’ programs and youth ministries to college groups, marriage support, and so much more, we’re a church that meets you where you are and walks with you as you grow.

Whether you’re new to faith or looking for a place to deepen it, we invite you to come visit us this Sunday or contact us today. Step into community. Step into purpose. Step into the dream.

JOHN 16:2 2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
The shooter did not finish him; His Lord took Charlie home. His departure was his ultimate and most powerful message; Charlie’s credibility was his testimony, not just his words, but his actions and life.
I believe his message and currency, just moved into second gear.
