In the midst of a summer heat that has all but banished thoughts of winter, something special is happening at Dream City Church. While most folks are planning beach trips and backyard barbecues, we’re already feeling the pull of the Christmas season. Our annual Celebration of Christmas production is one of the highlights of the year, and right now you can grab tickets at a sweet 15% discount through July 31st at 11:59 p.m. Not only that, but from July 1st through July 4th, we are offering tickets at 25% off to celebrate the 250th birthday of the USA! It’s our Christmas in July sale, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
This isn’t just another holiday show. Celebration of Christmas is a full-scale Broadway-style musical theater experience filled with live orchestra music, stunning visuals, and moments that point straight to the heart of why we celebrate Jesus’ birth. If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to gather your family and friends this December, this could be exactly what you’ve been waiting for.
Stepping Into the Story
Have you ever wished you could step inside a story the way you do when reading a favorite book? That’s the invitation at the center of this year’s Celebration of Christmas. The show follows the Sinclaire family as they reunite at their grandparents’ grand estate on Christmas Eve. What starts as an ordinary gathering quickly turns extraordinary when they discover a hidden library that comes alive, pulling them into beloved tales filled with wonder and important lessons.
You’ll travel with them through colorful worlds, like a whimsical Christmas factory, an adventurous nutcracker quest, and heartfelt journeys through city streets at Christmastime. Along the way, there are dazzling dance numbers, professional aerial performers, and acrobatic silk artists that bring each scene to life. The production builds to a breathtaking nativity scene complete with a majestic procession of the kings that never fails to stir the soul.
What makes the story especially powerful is how it weaves together imagination and real-life struggles. The family is beset by old hurts, misunderstandings, and the kind of pride that can quietly pull loved ones apart. Through each adventure, they learn about listening, growing, and choosing forgiveness. By the end, it’s clear that the greatest gift isn’t found in magic or spectacle, but in relationships restored and hearts turned toward home.
The True Meaning Behind the Lights
At Dream City Church, we love beautiful productions like this because they create space for us to experience joy while remembering the greatest story ever told. Christmas isn’t simply about lights and presents. It’s about God stepping into our broken world to bring us back to Himself.
The Bible puts it beautifully in Luke 2:10-11:
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
That good news changes everything. Just like the characters in the show who must confront what’s broken in their family, we all need the healing and forgiveness that only Jesus offers. Ephesians 4:32 reminds us, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” These aren’t just nice ideas for the stage—they’re truths we’re called to live out every day.
For families, experiencing this production together often sparks meaningful conversations on the ride home. Parents talk with their kids about grace. Friends open up about struggles they’ve carried. Strangers find common ground in the shared wonder of the nativity. That’s the kind of impact we pray for every time the curtains open.
Why Grab Tickets During the Christmas in July Sale?
Summer might feel far from Christmas, but planning ahead brings its own blessings. The 15% (or 25%!) discount makes it easier for more families to join us for this special event. Whether you’re buying for your immediate family, extended relatives, or a group of friends from church, these tickets won’t last long at this price. The show runs December 10-13 and 15-20, 2026, and early birds get the best selection of seats.
Beyond the entertainment, attending Celebration of Christmas gives you a chance to invite neighbors or coworkers who might not normally step into a church setting. Many people who come for the spectacular music and effects stay for the powerful message of hope in Christ. It’s one more way we get to live out the Great Commission right here in our community.
