At Dream City Kids, we want to partner with parents so that your kids will develop a life-long relationship with Jesus. One of the ways we do this is through communication. Please take a moment to read the Sunday Recap below, so that you know what your child is learning at Dream City Kids.
Sunday Recap: This weeks Bible lesson is from 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.
Power Verse: “For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are remembering the Lord’s death until He comes again.” – 1 Corinthians 11:26
Main Point: I will remember what Jesus did for me!
Message Recap: In this lesson, we learned about the “The Last Supper.” During the Last Supper, Jesus taught His disciples about Communion. Communion is when we eat bread and drink juice to remember what Jesus did on the cross. Jesus paid the price, so that our sin could be forgiven.
Let’s Talk About It:
- What did Jesus use to represent His body and blood? (Bread for body, Wine for Blood)
- What did Jesus tell us to do when we take communion? (To remember Him)
- Why do you think it’s important to remember what Jesus did on the cross?
