Good morning, Dream City! As we journey through this next decade of destiny, it’s essential to recognize the power of community and togetherness. The essence of being ‘Better Together’ is well encapsulated in the wisdom of Hebrews 10:24, which urges us to spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Similarly, First Thessalonians 5:11 reminds us to encourage one another and build each other up. Both scriptures highlight a core truth: Isolation kills, but community heals.

The Healing Power of Community

In our women’s ministry at Dream City, we emphasize that true healing and growth occur within the framework of community. I’m surrounded by a team I affectionately call my MVP, representing the Most Valuable People in my life. These are the individuals who motivate my character, challenge me to improve, and support me in difficult times with their prayers and presence. They not only lift me when I am down but also celebrate my successes, however small they might be.

Finding Your Tribe

Do you have a team like this around you? My hope and prayer for you are that you find your community—your tribe—to navigate life with. Lasting change and spiritual growth occur when we are surrounded by others who encourage and uplift us.

Opportunities for Connection

Dream City offers various opportunities for you to connect and grow in community. Every Saturday morning, we host a boot camp in our gym at 8:00 AM, offering an excellent way to build relationships through physical exercise. Alternatively, you can join us for a Bible study every Thursday morning at 10:00 AM, where significant breakthroughs and close-knit community experiences are happening.

Get in the Game

Don’t sit on the sidelines—get involved! Whether it’s through Bible study, fitness classes, or our unique TaeKwonDo sessions led by Pastor Jim Black on Monday nights, there is a place for everyone. These sessions bring together people from all age groups, creating a vibrant community. Our FX men’s groups are also experiencing profound growth and transformation through communal support.

Conclusion

The cornerstone of this message is simple: Do not do life alone. We were created for community, offering each other healing, support, and growth. Embrace these opportunities, and jump into the communal experiences we offer at Dream City. Remember, I love you, Dream City, and I’m excited to continue this journey of destiny with you. See you next Sunday!
