What is “One Day to Feed the World”?
“One Day to Feed the World” is a special initiative by Convoy of Hope, designed to make a significant impact on global hunger and poverty. It’s a simple yet powerful concept: a single day when individuals, families, and churches unite to give a one-day offering to feed the world’s most vulnerable people. This event typically takes place on a designated Sunday, and the funds raised provide nourishing food, clean water, and life-saving resources to children and families in desperate need, both internationally and right here at home.
Why does our church support it?
Our church is committed to living out the call of Jesus to care for the poor, the hungry, and the marginalized. “One Day to Feed the World” provides us with a tangible and effective way to fulfill this mission. By partnering with Convoy of Hope, we ensure that our giving is used strategically and efficiently. Convoy of Hope has a proven track record of reaching millions of people with compassion and resources.
